Judgment :- R. Banumathi, J. All these Writ Appeals arise out of the common order in W.P.Nos.20635, 20636, 22053, 20640, 22,052, 22051, 21498, 21499, 21056, 21,476, 21,441, 20915, 20774,21014, 20779, 21523, 21036, 21034, 21015, 21605, 21500, 20773, 21778, 20770, 21643, and 20641 of 2001 dated 05.12.2001 which were disposed of by the learned single Judge directing the 2nd Respondent-The National Council for Teacher Education, Southern Regional Committee to grant increase of intake applied for by the 1st Respondent-Institutions. 2. In G.O.Ms.No.111 (School Education UI) dated 07.08.2001, Government passed the order that filling up of seats by the Institutions shall be 50% : 50%. Some of the Writ Petitioner-Institutions have taken more intake of the students against the Management quota of Private Training Institutions have filed the Writ Petitions to quash the said G.O.Ms.No.111 dated 07.8.2001 and to direct the Respondents to approve admission of 40 students made by the Writ Petitioner-Institutions. 3. The learned single Judge has directed the 2nd Respondent-The National Council for Teacher Education, Southern Regional Committee, to grant increase of intake applied for by the Writ Petitioner- Institutions as early as in the month of September 2001 along with required no objection certificate from the State Government. 4. It was stated before us that the direction of the learned single Judge has been given effect to. In so far as Management quota and Government quota for the subsequent years, there is a change of policy by the Government. In such circumstances, nothing survives for consideration in these batch of Writ Appeals. 5. Having regard to the above submissions, all the Writ Appeals are dismissed as infructuous leaving the issue open. Consequently, all the connected M.Ps. are closed. No costs.
