Judgment :- 1. This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of Certiorari to call for and quash the order of the first respondent, dated 16.11.2009, and the show cause notice of the second respondent, dated 12.12.2009. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had placed before this Court, a Government order, in G.O.Ms.(P) No.26, Rural Development and Local Administration Department, dated 20.1.2010, setting aside the order of the first respondent, dated 24.6.2009, removing the petitioner from the post of President, Naduveerapattu Village Panchayat, Cuddalore District. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had further submitted that in view of the said Government order, dated 20.1.2010, the notice, dated 12.12.2009, issued by the second respondent, would become redundant. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents had pointed out that in the Government order, in G.O.Ms.(P) No.26, Rural Development and Local Administration Department, dated 20.1.2010, the second respondent has been given liberty to issue a fresh show cause notice to the petitioner, based on the decision of the Full Bench of this Court, dated 19.8.2009, made in W.A.Nos.1257 and 1258 of 2008 (THE DISTRICT COLLECTOR AND INSPECTOR OF DISTRICT PANCHAYAT VILLUPURAM DISTRICT AND ANOTHER Vs. DEVI PARASURAM AND ANOTHER). 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties concerned, the writ petition stands closed, as no further orders are necessary to be passed in the writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.No.1 of 2010 is closed.
