JUDGEMENT 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State. 2. This application has been filed challenging the order dated 30.11.1993, issued by the Joint Secretary-cum-Director, science and Technology Department by which regular appointment of the petitioners made earlier vide order no.2263 dated 18.3.1992 has been cancelled as it has been held that the regular procedure for making appointment was not followed. 3. The case of the petitioners is that initially an advertisement was issued and the petitioners were appointed on ad hoc basis. The petitioners continued to work on ad hoc basis for a period of eleven years and thereafter it is said that they were regularized. 4. The stand of the State of Bihar is that after the authorities found out that the procedure for making the appointment was not in accordance with law, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioners and their services were terminated. In the matter of regularization of services, the law is has now well settled after the pronouncement of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Uma Devi and as such this Court cannot interfere with the order of termination as the case of the petitioners is covered with ratio laid down in the case of Uma devi. 5. This application is thus dismissed.
