JUDGMENT B.S. Verma, J. : Heard Mr. P.S. Uniyal, Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. N.P. Shah, Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. 2. By mans of this petition the petitioner has sought the following relief- (i) To issue a writ. order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to decide the representation (Annexure No.1 ) of the petitioner. (ii) Any other order or direction which this Hon'ble High Court may deem tit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner along with his wife and children and four other families including women and children had gone to work at the Brick Klin of respondent No.6 in the month of October. 2010 upon assurance by respondent No.6 that appropriate arrangements fur their stay shall be made during the course of their employment. But the respondent No.6 did not pay the wages and put the women and children under his own custody and has continued to use them as bonded labour. The petitioner any how has managed to escape and thereafter he sent representation on 26-11- 2010 to District Magistrate Hardiwar. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed representation before the District Magistrate Haridwar to take action in the matter and got freed the family members of the petitioner as well as the family members mentioned at the foot of the representation from the clutches of respondents 6. but no action has yet been taken on the representation. Therefore. direction be issued 10 respondent No.2 to take decision on the representation of 1he petitioner as early as possible. Prayer made is innocuous. 5.The respondent no.2/District Magistrate. Haridwar is directed to take decision on the representation of the petitioner (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition), as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 6. With the above direction the writ petition is 'disposed of finally.
