JUDGEMENT 1. We have heard Mr. R.K. Rajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Nirmal Kumar, learned counsel for the State. 2. In this Public Interest Litigation the basic grievance is for installation of the Telegraph Tower on the roof of residential house of respondent no. 7. That apart, it is put forth, similar circumstance do exist where there is violation of Telegraph Act and Rules. 3. Regard being had to the lis in question, we are only inclined to direct, it is open to the petitioners to bring it to the notice of the competent authority under the Telegraph Act and Rules who shall deal with the matter in quite promptitude. If a representation is made with the requisite details to the competent authority, the same shall be dealt with by scribing cogent and germane reasons. 4. If there is any other grievance with regard to installation of any machine on the Public Road, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the competent authority. 5. With the aforesaid observation/direction the writ petition is disposed of.
