Judgment :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents. 2. In spite of the matter being adjourned on several occasions, the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, had not filed the inspection report, as directed by this Court. 3. In view of the earlier orders passed by this Court, directing the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board to grant electricity service connection to the concerned petitioners, without insisting on the completion certificate from the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, wherever it was found that there were only minor deviations in the construction of the buildings, the second and the third respondents are directed to provide electricity service connection to the petitioners premises at S.Nos.107/3 and 4, 115/1B and 116/1D & 1E of Madanandapuram Village, Plot No.34 and 35, Madha Nagar Extenstion- II, Kunrathur Panchayat Union Limit, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, without insisting on the completion certificate from the fifth respondent authority, if the deviations found in the construction of the building in the petitioners premises is only minor in nature. The second and the third respondents are directed to provide the electricity service connection, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
