Judgment :- 1. The petitioner has come up with the present Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition for transfer of O.S.No.118 of 2005 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Ariyalur, to the file of any other District Munsif Court, within the jurisdiction of the District Court, Ariyalur. 2. The only reason that has been stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application is that the District Munsif Court, Ariyalur is not functioning because no Presiding Officer has been posted there. However, it is pointed out by the learned counsel that there is sitting by the learned District Munsif at Ariyalur and disposing of the cases for two days. 3. In view of the above stated position, I am not inclined to entertain the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition for transfer that has been sought for by the petitioner and the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed. However, the Presiding Officer of the District Munsif Court, Ariyalur is directed to dispose of the case in O.S.No.118 of 2005 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
