JUDGMENT For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the order dismissing the petition in default is recalled and the petition is restored to its original number. 2. Heard. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has been transferred from HSC,Rajgarh, District Mandi to HSC, Majhiar, District Mandi after a short stay of about one week. 3. The petitioner, who is a female health worker, was transferred from HSC, Pattha, District Mandi to HSC,Rajgarh,District Mandi on 29.05.2010. According to her, she joined at HSC, Rajgarh and thereafter within a week the impugned order was passed on 31.05.2010 transferring her from HSC, Rajgarh to HSC, Majhiar. 4. The case of the petitioner is that her transfer was ordered just to accommodate respondent No. 4, who was under transfer to HSC, Majhiar. The stand of the State is that, in fact, respondent No. 4 made a representation that she could not be transferred to HSC, Majhiar as she, i.e. respondent No. 4, had worked at various places including Tikki, Janjehli Block, which was a sub cadre area and prior to her transfer she had worked at Barswan, Kotli Block which was at a distance of 35 kilometres . On the other hand, the petitioner, right from her appointment in the year 2001, had remained posted at places which were less than 17 kilometres from her residence in Ner Chowk. The petitioner prior to her posting at HSC, Rajgarh was posted at HSC, Pattha which was 13 kilometres from Ner Chowk. 5. From the record, it is apparent, that the petitioner remained posted in and around Ner Chowk for almost 11 years. Therefore, her transfer cannot be said to be a transfer after a few days if previous postings are taken into consideration. 6. In view of the above discussion, I find no merit in the present writ petition which is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
