JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph,J. “1. That the writ in the nature of mandamus may be issued directing the respondents to release the retiral benefits i.e. Leave Encashment, Gratuity and commuted pension alongwith interest @ 12% per annum w.e.f. 30.06.2010 till its payment for which the petitioner humbly prays.” 2. Petitioner retired from service on 30th June, 2010. He is aggrieved since his retiral benefits are not disbursed to him so far. There will be a direction to the respondents to settle the due and admissible benefits payable to the petitioner and disburse the same within a period of two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner. In case due and admissible amounts are not paid within two months, as above, the petitioner shall be entitled to interest at the rate of 10% per annum on such amounts with effect from the date of his retirement. 3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
