JUDGMENT Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:- “1. That the respondent authorities may kindly be directed to make necessary entries in the revenue record and issued the OBC Certificate in favour of the petitioner. 2. According to the petitioner, going by the material produced in the writ petition, it can be seen and apparently there is no dispute also that Bhat Brahmins belong to OBC category. The petitioner has submitted Annexure P-6 representation before the 3rd respondent. There will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to look into the matter verifying the facts and take appropriate action on the representation within a week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent. It is also made clear that in case the petitioner belongs to Bhat Brahmin and since Bhat Brahmin is now OBC category, certificate shall be issued within the said period. 3. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
