Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.8.2010 in Na.Ka.No.164884/82 within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2. Mr. L.S.M. Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. The writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation dated 21.8.2010. 4. The representation dated 21.8.2010 has been addressed to the third respondent Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition) and a copy has been marked to the respondents 1 and 2. The main relief according to the petitioner is for reconveyance of the land acquired. That power can be exercised only by the Government. Petitioner has not approached the Government by way of proper representation in this regard. The copy of representation sent to the first respondent cannot give a right to seek the relief sought for in this writ petition. 5. In view of the above, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. However, petitioner is at liberty to make a detailed representation to the Government along with a copy of this order. On receipt of representation along with a copy of this order, the Government/competent authority shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
