JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, C.J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: “i) That impugned notification Annexure A-2 may very kindly be quashed and set aside with directions to the respondents to fill up the posts of Lecturers (School Cadre) treating as if the said notification has never been issued. In the alternative it is prayed that respondents may very kindly be directed not to give effect to the said notification at least qua the applicant and other same and similarly situated persons. Further more it is prayed that in any eventuality if this request does not find favour with this Hon’ble Court, directions may be issued to the respondents to allow at least two years period to the persons like the applicant to acquire said qualification and in the mean time vacancies may be ordered to be filled treating if the notification Annexure A-2 is not there” 2. In view of the intervening developments whereby the Rules have been amended, in case the petitioner has still any grievance left, he may approach the first respondent. 3. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
