JUDGMENT Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J. The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayers:- “a. That the impugned letter dated 25-09-2007 & 29-08-2008 issued by the respondents may be quashed and the respondents may be directed to regularize the services of the petitioners and give them work charge status as Driver, (Petitioner no. 3 be given the status of Chowkidar) after completion of eight years of daily waged services. b. That the respondents may further be directed to grant all consequential benefits after their regularization of completion of eight years daily-wage service or work charged status after rendering eight years service.” 2. The petitioners claim work charge status on completion of eight years of continuous service as daily waged Driver/Chowkidar. According to the petitioners, the issue is covered in their favour by the judgment of this Court rendered in CWP No. 2735 of 2010, Rakesh Kumar versus State of H.P. and others. It is for the respondents to examine the matter. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents concerned to examine the matter in the light of the judgment referred to above and take appropriate action thereon within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition and the copy of the judgment referred to above. 3. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
