JUDGMENT :- 1. This contempt petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, on 30.6.2008, in W.P.No.28824 of 2006 (O.A.No.1230 of 1996) 2. This Court, by its order, dated 30.6.2008, had directed the second respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 25.8.1993, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, if it had not already been disposed of. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the contempt petition the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that an order had been passed, in Letter No.23503/A1/2008-2, dated 14.10.2008, pursuant to the order issued by this Court, on 30.6.2008. 4. In such circumstances, since, no further orders are necessary, the contempt petition stands closed. No costs.
