ORDER : R.V. Raveendran, A.K. Patnaik, JJ The Central Pollution Control Board filed a counter-affidavit in thee Court broadly suggesting that the pollution control measures are in place, but making certain recommendations. 2. The learned counsel for the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, however, submits that there are serious lacunae in regard to pollution control measures taken by the petitioner, in particular, in regard to (a) providing storage for raw material; (b) providing satisfactory solid waste disposal procedures; (c) preventing fugitive gaseous emissions; and (d) carrying out green belting (hardly 25% of which has been carried out). Mr C.A. Sundaram, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner disputes the same. However, as the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control has come out with specific omissions, the petitioner is directed to file an affidavit in regard too these for aspects. The Central Pollution Control Board is also directed to file an additional affidavit dealing with these four aspects. 3. Mr Gopal Subramanium, learned Solicitor General appearing for the Ministry of Environment and Forests seeks three week’s time to file counter. 4. All parties are permitted to file their comments/affidavits within three weeks. 5. List on 25.2.2011. Interim stay to continue till the next date of hearing.
