Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that he would pay 25% of the amount demanded, said to be due from the petitioner, as income tax, to the first respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On the petitioner making such payment, the attachment of the petitioner's bank account in Bank of India, SSI Branch, Tirupur, shall be raised and thereafter, the appeal shall be disposed of by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. 3. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Connected M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2011 is closed.
