The respondents are allowed three weeks' time to file counter affidavit. 2. List immediately thereafter. 3. By this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for quashing the First Information Report dated 7.06.2011 in Case Crime No.80 of 2011 under Sections 323, 506, 498-A IPC and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Nagfani, District Moradabad. 4. It is alleged in the First Information Report that the marriage of the informant-Poonam with petitioner no.1-Vivek Srivastava was solemnized on 21st June, 2010. However, as demands for dowry were not met, the petitioners demanded dowry and the husband attempted to kill the informant. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the allegations contained in the First Information Report are not correct and that matter may be referred to the Mediation Centre. 6. In view of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners and in view of the allegations contained in the First Information Report, it is ordered that until further orders or until submission of the charge sheet, arrest of petitioner nos. 2 to 7 in Case Crime No.80 of 2011 under Sections 323, 506, 498-A IPC and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Nagfani, District Moradabad, shall remain stayed.
