JUDGMENT Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J. The petitioners are contract teachers have two grievances, namely, (1) vacation salary and (2) merger of 50% dearness allowance. 2. As far as the vacation salary is concerned, the issue has become final in Baldev Singh and others vs. State of H.P. and others, reported in Latest HLJ 2009 (HP) 293. Therefore, the eligible vacation salary, if not already paid shall be paid within three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition and the copy of the judgment, referred to above. 3. The grievance with regard to the merger of 50% dearness allowance shall be considered in the light of the judgment dated 17.11.2009 in CWP (T) 14232 of 2008 titled Nek Ram and others vs. State of H.P. and others. The necessary action in that regard shall be taken within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of the judgment, referred to above, by the petitioner. 4. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
