Judgment :- 1. Mr.R.Thirugnanam, the learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the petitioner is permitted to represent the application, dated 15.10.2010, to the respondent and if the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the petitioner is permitted to represent the application, dated 15.10.2010, for mini bus permit to the respondent, within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the said application is in order, the respondent shall consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of four weeks thereafter. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
