JUDGMENT Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:- “i. That respondents may be ordered to give regular appointment to the petitioner from the date he was appointed on daily wage basis with all the benefits incidental thereof such as full back wages, seniority and pay fixation etc.” 2. According to the petitioner, as per the policy prevailing on the date of appointment, he should have been engaged on regular basis while granting the compassionate appointment. According to the petitioner, similarly situated persons have been granted regular appointment, as per the policy prevailing at the relevant time. There will be a direction to the second respondent to examine this aspect and take appropriate action without discriminating the petitioner in light also of the policy prevailing on the date of appointment, within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner before the second respondent. 3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
