JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph,J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: “(a) That this writ petition may kindly be allowed, writ in the nature of mandamus may be issued and the respondent Department may be directed to assign seniority to the petitioner as Lecturer from the date of his promotion as such i.e. 7.8.1989.” 2. It is for the second respondent to consider the matter after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other affected parties. The petitioner may file an appropriate representation before the second respondent within a period of one month from today, in which case the matter will be duly considered by the second respondent after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other affected parties, adverting to the contentions in the representation within a period of another three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner. 3. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
