Judgment :- 1. Since the issues involved in both the writ petitions are similar in nature, they have been taken up together and a common order is being passed. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 had submitted that the petitioners can be permitted to participate in the counselling scheduled to be held today and they would be considered, subject to the availability of vacancies in various colleges. 4. In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3, the writ petitions stand disposed of, permitting the petitioners to participate in the counselling scheduled for today, at the place of the second respondent, before 6.00 p.m. It is made clear that if the petitioners appear before the second respondent before 6.00 p.m. today, the second respondent shall allow them to participate in the counselling and consider their case, subject to the availability of the seats. The writ petitions are ordered accordingly. Connected Miscellaneous petitions No.1 and 1 of 2011 are closed. No costs.
