Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf the respondent. 2. At this stage of hearin of the writ petition, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the vehicle in question had been handed over to the Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, on 22.03.2011, in C.P.No.41 of 2011, relating to Crime No.20 of 2011, on the file of the Panjappalli Police Station. 3. In such circumstances, this Court does not find it appropriate to grant the relief as prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition. However, it is made clear that it would be open to the petitioner to move appropriate application/petition before the Judicial Magistrate, Palacode, to get the vehicle released as per law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
