Judgment :- 1. Mr.V.Bharathidasan, the learned counsel, takes notice for the respondents. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, dated 24.2.2011, against the order of the second respondent, dated 5.8.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. He had also submitted that no coersive action would be taken against the petitioner before the disposal of the said appeal. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, dated 24.2.2011, against the order of the second respondent, dated 5.8.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the appeal, dated 24.2.2011, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2011 is closed.
