JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, C.J. The Writ Petitions have been filed mainly with the following prayers: 1. CWP No. 1521 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. 21.2.1098 to 1.4.1994 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 2. CWP No. 1528 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. 22.9.1986 to 31.8.1990 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 3. CWP No. 1529 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. Oct. 1987 to Dec., 1990 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 4. CWP No. 1530 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. March, 1990 to Sep., 1994 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 5. CWP No. 1532 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. 29.4.1988 to 1.4.1994 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 6. CWP No. 1533 of 2011. CWP No. 1533 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. 13.4.1987 to 1.4.1994 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 7. CWP No. 1535 of 2011. “i) writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of pay fixation and counting of the service for the purpose of pension w.e.f. 29.7.1986 to 1.9.1989 i.e. the due date in favour of the petitioner as has been allowed to similarly placed persons in the department of Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh along with consequential benefits.” 2. According to the petitioners, the issue is covered in their favour by the judgment of this Court rendered in CWP No. 4550 of 2010, Ravi Kumar vrs. State of H.P. & another. It is for the respondents to examine the matter. Therefore, these writ petitions are disposed of directing the respondents concerned to examine the matter in the light of the judgment, referred to above and take appropriate action thereon within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition(s) and the copy of the judgment, referred to above. 3. The writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending application (s), if any.
