JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayers: “i) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued by directing the respondents to count the period of untrained service of the present petitioner for the purpose of placement in higher pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.1986 to the present petitioner. ii) That the respondents my kindly be directed to pay all the consequential benefits to the petitioner alongwith interest @ 9% per annum.” 2. According to the petitioner, his case is covered by the decision of this Court in CWP No. 319 of 1997, titled Hira Lal versus State of Himachal Pradesh and another, decided on 17.6.2008. In the matter of counting of untrained period of service against the post of Drawing Teacher towards senior scale/selection grade w.e.f. 1.1.1986, in case the petitioner is similarly situated as the petitioner covered by the aforesaid judgment, similar treatment shall be extended to the petitioner herein also. Needful action in that matter shall be taken within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with copy of the writ petition and the judgment referred to above by the petitioner before the second respondent. 3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
