Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondent or his agent from laying a road in Old Survey No.192/1, New T.S.No.25/1, Ramapurampudur, Namakkal Town. 2. Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent is trying to lay a road in a private property of the petitioner and has made a representation on 24.1.2011 and another representation on 17.2.2011 which have been acknowledged. Counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner will be met, if the respondent is directed to consider the said representations of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the authority will consider the representations on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the representations dated 24.1.2011 and 17.2.2011 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
