Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to convert the use of open space land reserved for putting overhead water tank in Old Survey No.111/1D in Kumaran Nagar Layout in Nandhivaram, Guduvanchery Town Panchayt approved by the first respondent in his proceedings vide CSAR/DTCP/M 86/24/LP 20 dated 21.1.86. 2. Mr.S.Shivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. It is stated that the above open space is reserved for installing water tank for the benefit of the petitioner's association. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are now converting the above open space to use for some other purpose. Aggrieved thereby a representation has been made on 1.3.2011 to the respondents. Counsel for the petitioner states that the said representation has been handed over to the respondents in person. 4. Considering the nature of relief sought for, both the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
