Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to putting up any electrical towers across the agricultural patta land of the petitioner situated at Pakkam Village, Thiruninravur, Thiruvallur District in respect of Survey Nos.215/2, 218/2, 218/3, 218/1 and 218/5. 2. Mr.S.Shivashanmugm, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 5 electricity board. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 2 to 5 are putting up high tension electricity power line over his lands. Petitioner has given a representation on 14.3.2011 and the same has not been considered. Counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner will be met if the respondents 2 to 5 are directed to consider the representation. 4. In view of the limited prayer now sought for, the respondents 2 to 5 are directed to consider the representation dated 14.3.2011 and deal with in accordance with law. If there is any standing crop in the property over which the power line is taken, the authority is to take due regards to the same for the purpose of granting appropriate relief. 5. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
