Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give the agricultural service connection to the petitioner's land situated in S.No.1273/1, (Old S.No.119/1-A), Paranchervazhi Village, Kangayam Taluk, Tiruppur District as per seniority No.355/96-97, dated 24.12.1996 by receipt of the undertaking letter from the petitioner. 2. Mr.J.Ravindran, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.N.Manoharan, learned counsel appears on behalf of the third respondent. 3. Petitioner claims that the respondent electricity department has issued a letter dated 28.10.2010 indicating that his free agricultural service connection application recorded as No.355/96-97 dated 24.12.1996 for effecting power supply, is ready and called upon the petitioner to furnish the documents listed thereunder. 4. Petitioner has now come before this Court for a mandamus to grant agricultural service connection without complying with the various requirements as indicated in the letter dated 28.10.2010. Hence, the relief as sought for cannot be granted at this stage. 5. However, considering the plea of Thiru C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is given liberty to make a detailed representation enclosing all the necessary documents available with him and appear before the second respondent claiming the free agricultural power supply connection. The authority shall consider the same on merits, keeping in mind the earlier orders of this Court in a similar cases. As and when the petitioner makes a representation along with relevant documents together with a copy of this order, the authority shall decide the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
