JUDGMENT Rajiv Sharma, Judge Case of the petitioner, in a nut-shell, is that she is entitled to 135 days’ maternity leave. It has come in the reply on the basis of Annexure A-7 that as far as Vidya Upasaks are concerned, a policy decision has been taken on 9th April, 2002 to grant them the benefit of maternity leave for a maximum period of 12 weeks. 2. Consequently, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to at least grant 12 weeks benefit of maternity leave to the petitioner through the office of Block Primary Education Officer, Block Sadar, Tehsil Sadar, District Bilaspur, H.P., within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment by the petitioner. No costs.
