Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take suitable action by passing orders on petitioner's representations dated 18.11.2010 and 9.3.2011 within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court. 2. Mr.S.Shivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. In view of the nature of order that is to be passed safeguarding the interest of the second respondent, the notice to the second respondent is dispensed with. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. On 9.3.2011 petitioner has given a complaint/representation to the first respondent and the same was not considered so far. Hence, present writ petition has been filed. 4. Mr.S.Shivashanmugham, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent states that the authority will consider the complaint/representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to consider the complaint/representation dated 9.3.2011 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable period of time. It is however, made clear that any proceedings against the second respondent will be strictly in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, so as to avoid allegation of violation of principles of natural justice. 6. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
