ORDER Dr. S. Muralidhar, J. 1. There is no dispute in the present case that the Petitioner was issued a demand-cum-allotment letter ('DAL') for a Flat No. 907, Third Floor, Pocket C, Block A, Lok Nayak Puram, Delhi showing the disposal cost as Rs. 10,20,071.40. The date of the draw was 7th March, 2008. The Petitioner was granted time for making the payment up to 18th April, 2009. 2. There is only one essential grievance raised by Mr. Kinra, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner. He refers to a DAL issued to one Joginder Sehgal who was allotted a flat at No. 667, Third Floor, Sector-A, Pocket D, Lok Nayak Puram where the draw was held on 27th September, 2007 and the DAL had block dates of 23rd January, 2009 to 29th January, 2009. The reserved category there was indicated as 'GE', as in the Petitioner's case. However, the cost of the flat as far as Joginder Sehgal is concerned is indicated as Rs. 9,22,973/-. 3. Mr. Kinra poses a question why there is such a substantial difference in the cost of the flat when the date of draw is separated only by a few months. Mr. Arjun Pant, learned Counsel for the DDA states that the DDA is willing to re-examine the issue in light of the above submission. 4. The Court considers it appropriate to direct the DDA to issue the Petitioner a revised DAL, by working out the cost keeping in view the fact that a DAL was issued to Joginder Sehgal for a flat on the same floor and in the same locality with block dates 23rd January to 29th January, 2009 with a substantially lesser disposal cost. The revised DAL will be issued to the Petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today. In view of the special circumstances, the time for the Petitioner to make the payment will stand extended to the time indicated in the revised DAL. Upon the Petitioner making payment within the stipulated time as indicated in the revised DAL, and completing all other formalities, the Petitioner will be put in possession of the flat in question within a further period of four weeks. 5. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
