Judgment :- 1. The petitioners, in the writ petition, seek promotion to the post of Commercial Tax Officer on par with other employees by claiming that the petitioners are seniors to the persons already promoted. 2. It is not in dispute that before approaching this Court, the petitioners made representation to the State Government, seeking the relief claimed. 3. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the State Government to take a final decision on the representation of the petitioners, by passing a detailed speaking order within a period of two months of the receipt of certified copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
