Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondents, their subordinates or any one acting on their behalf to give regular Metro Water and Sewerage connection to the House, Ground and premises bearing Door No.14/120, Sanniyasipuram 2nd Street, Kilpauk, Chennai-600 010, duly constructed by the petitioner without insisting for any production of completion certificate from CMDA. 2. Mr.G.S.Mohan, learned counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. Petitioner seeks water supply and drainage connection to his residential premises as above, stating that the planning permission has been granted by the Corporation of Chennai. It is an ordinary building and it is covered by G.O.Ms.No.139 Municipal Administration and Water Supply (Metro Water) Department dated 15.10.2007. There is no dispute by the respondents on this plea. 4. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit application to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking provision of water supply and sewerage connection. On receipt of such application the respondents 1 and 2 shall consider the same and provide water supply and sewerage connection, if the application is otherwise in order. The Writ Petition is ordered as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
