JUDGEMENT Gopal Prasad, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for the State. 2. This appeal is against the judgment of acquittal dated 15.04.1997 passed by the Judicial 2 Magistrate Ist Class, Sitamarhi, in Complaint Case No. C- 126/91 for offence under Sections 143, 144, 447 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code with regard to the cutting of crop. The occurrence is of the year 1991. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant however submits that having regard to the fact that occurrence is of the year 1991 and allegations alleged are of petty offence and hence in public interest not required to be pressed. 4. Hence in view of submissions, the appeal is dismissed.
