Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 7.1.2010. 2. Mr. S.Shivashanmugam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the appeal has been filed on 7.1.2011. In the petition it is wrongly stated as 7.1.2010. 4. Considering the nature of relief sought for, if the appeal is filed properly and is still pending, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously considering the plea of the petitioners that the first petitioner is a senior citizen. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
