Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from providing any water connection to any one under 'free' scheme of the Government in the house owned by the petitioner at Door No.6, Second Street, Govindarajapuram, Adayar, Chennai-600 020. 2. Mr.G.S.Mohan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. Petitioner states that he has made a representation dated 5.4.2011 to the second respondent followed by a legal notice dated dated 5.4.2011 to the second respondent not to provide free water supply to the third party, viz., to the very same house under "Free Scheme". The mandamus is filed to consider the said representation. 4. Apparently, it appears that there is a dispute between the petitioner and some third party. In such view of the matter, as pointed out by the learned counsel for the respondents, the authority shall consider the representation of the petitioner on its own merits and deal with the matter purely in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a reasonable period of time, if warranted. 5. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
