Judgment :- 1. Mr.V.Bharathidasan, the learned counsel, takes notice for the respondents. 2. Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeals, dated 29.12.2009, received by the office of the first respondent, on 30.12.2009, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. He had also submitted that no coercive steps would be initiated against the petitioner, till the disposal of the appeals. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeals, dated 29.12.2009, received by the office of the first respondent, on 30.12.2009, relating to the temporary notices bearing G.R.S.Nos.D030/00003, D030/00007 and D030/00004, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the appeals, dated 29.12.2009, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, no coercive steps shall be initiated against the petitioner till the disposal of the appeals, as submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. It is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
