Judgment :- T.S. Sivagnanam, J. 1. In the present petition, the petitioner prays to call for the letter No.2026/B2/2011 dated 7.3.2011 of the 1st respondent and quash the endorsement of the 2nd respondent dated 19.3.2011 and direct the 1st respondent to grant release orders for all remaining brands of Indian made Foreign Spirit Unit within a time frame. 2. The matter was heard on several dates and Mr.G.Rajagopalan, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent was directed to seek instructions in the matter. Today, a letter has been produced by Mr.G.Rajagopalan, learned senior counsel for the Election Commission of India under the signature of Under Secretary to the Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, stating that since the poll is over, the Commission has no objection in the matter and the condition imposed in the Commission's letter dated 19th March, 2011, stands withdrawn/relaxed. 3. In view of the aforesaid letter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondents to release the stocks within two days. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
