body2011
ORDER Mr. R. Mahadevan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that even though the prayer in the writ petition is for a larger relief, it would suffice, if the goods in question, seized by the respondent, are released on payment of the tax amounting to Rs. 22,87,000/-. However, it would be open to the petitioner to file a revision petition against the impugned order of the respondent, dated 18.2.2011, before the appropriate authority, in the manner known to law, within fifteen days from today. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Connected M.P. Nos. 1, 2 and 3 of 2011 are closed.
