JUDGMENT :- 1. Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to receive, process, consider and accord water and sewerage service connections to the petitioner's premises at old door No.27, new door No.55, Vijayaraghava Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-600 017 comprised in Survey Nos.77/1, 67/2, 54/1, 2, 68 and 78 (part) in T.S.No.8553/3, 4, 5, Block No.113, of Thyagaraya Nagar Village in accordance with law and without insisting on production of No Objection Certificate/Completion certificate from the third respondent. 2. Mr.V.Manoharan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mrs.V.M.Velumani, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. By consent of all parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. By order dated 25.5.2011 in W.P.No.12748 of 2011, this Court directed the respondents electricity board to receive and consider the application of the petitioners for providing electricity service connection to the petitioners' building as above without insisting upon the production of no objection certificate from the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. Paragraph 6 of the order dated 25.5.2011 passed in W.P.No.12748 of 2011 reads as follows:- "6. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to receive and consider the application of the petitioners for providing electricity service connection to the building put up at Old Door No.27, New Door No.55, Vijayaraghava Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-600 017, in Survey Nos.77/1, 67/2, 54/1, 2, 68 and 78 (part), T.S.No.8553/3, 4, 5, Block No.113, of Thyagaraya Nagar Village, in accordance with law and without insisting upon the production of 'No Objection Certificate/Completion Certificate' from the fifth respondent." The present writ petition has been filed for providing water and sewerage service connection to the very same premises. 4. In view of the earlier order passed by this Court as above in respect of the very same property, the writ petition is ordered as prayed for. No costs.
