JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that a criminal case, in Crime No.390 of 2011, under Section 379 IPC, read with The Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, had been registered before the Chengalpet Taluk Police Station, and the matter is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpet. 3. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition. However, it is made clear that it would be open to the petitioner to seek an appropriate remedy before the concerned Court, for the release of the vehicle concerned, in the manner known to law. The writ petition stands dismissed, with the above directions. No costs.
