JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the vehicle in question had been released by the respondents, on payment of penalty. Therefore, the present writ petition filed by the petitioner has become infructuous. However, he had submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to challenge the proceedings of the first respondent, imposing the penalty on the petitioner. 3. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, it is made clear that it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the first respondent imposing the penalty on the petitioner, if he is so advised, in the manner known to law. No cost. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
