JUDGMENT :- 1. This writ petition has been filed for challenging the order passed by the second respondent, the President, Pettavelli Panchayat, Ariyalur District, dated 20.12.2007 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to restore the original status of the petitioner. 2. Though the writ petition has been filed challenging the resolution of the Panchayat dated 20.12.2007, learned counsel for the petitioner on the instruction says that the petitioner has given representation dated 8.12.2007 to the Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur District, the third respondent herein.
