JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for Taxes appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.02.2006, and pass appropriate orders within a specified period. He had also submitted that the second respondent may be restrained from initiating revenue recovery proceedings pursuant to the impugned notice, dated 09.06.2011, till the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the fourth respondent. 3. The learned Government Advocate for Taxes appearing on behalf of the respondents 1, 2 and 4, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. In such circumstances, the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.02.2006, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed not to initiate revenue recovery proceedings against the petitioner pursuant to the impugned notice, dated 09.06.2011, till the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.02.2006, is disposed of by the fourth respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
