JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this Issue order copy on 30.06.2011 Court, a communication in Na.Ka.No.202/2011/F, dated 28.06.2011, stating that the applications had been given to 21 persons, including the petitioner as directed by this Court. The tender had been opended and confirmation orders had been passed in respect of a number of shops in Tiruppur District, including shop Nos.1933, 1963, 1981 and 1961. 3. In such circumstances, the writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it goes without saying that it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the confirmation orders in respect of the shops in question, if he is so advised, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
