JUDGMENT :- 1. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.03.2010 and issue patta for the petitioner's property comprised in Survey Nos.31/21B, 32/1B, 31/28C and 32/5 measuring an extent of 4800 sq.ft. plot No.167, situated at Devaneri Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District. 2. The petitioner has purchased the property along with his wife comprised in Survey Nos.31/28B, 32/1B, 32/1B, 31/28C and 32/5 measuring an extent of 4800 sq.ft. by a sale deed dated 16.04.2001 bearing Document No.1749/2001 registered at S.R.O. Thirukazhukundram and subsequently, his application to issue patta for the said land has not been considered even after the payment of fee on 26.03.2010. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the present writ petition. 3. Since the prayer made by the petitioner is a limited one, by putting on notice the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent/the Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's application dated 26.03.2010 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. The present writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
