Mr. Naresh Kaul, learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for some time, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, to enable his client to file an election petition. Allowed. 2. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. It shall be open to the petitioner to avail alternative/statutory remedy available to him, under the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 and the rules framed thereunder. The same shall be decided by the competent authority within the period prescribed under the Statute.
