Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. There is no appearance on behalf of the respondent. 2. This Writ Petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the subsistence allowance to the petitioner, for the period from 05.10.2004 to 01.12.2005, when he was under suspension from service. 3. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, the respondent is directed to pay the subsistence allowance, to the petitioner, for the period, from 05.10.2004 to 01.12.2005, if he is found to be eligible for the same, as per law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
